Tiva’s EDI-Reality™ has been significantly enhanced with the release
of Wholesaler Services 8.0. This application, which communicates
with the Tiva EDI Server, checks for and downloads Orders from your
customers using EDI-Reality and sends Transactions (pricebook changes and invoices) to the server for your customers to download via EDI-Reality.
There are three components:
- Wholesaler Services :: Server Edition:
This application sends transactions and downloads orders. It can be installed as an interactive application with a user interface, or as a Windows Service to run automatically in the background with no user interface.
- Wholesaler Services :: Workstation: This program creates an icon which contains a link to your Wholesaler Services on the Web Home Page. Workstation Edition can be installed on any number of computers.
- Tiva Electronic Pricebook Wizard: The Pricebook Wizard is now a standalone application, which can be installed on any computer running Windows 98 (Second Edition) or later.
Wholesaler Services 8.0 features new file compression and FTP
enhancements to significantly increase the speed of sending transactions and downloading orders. With the ability to run as a Windows Service, Wholesaler Services :: Server Edition can run in the background with no user interaction, even if no user is logged in to Windows.
The Tiva Electronic Pricebook Wizard can be installed on as many computers as needed. New enhancements in the Pricebook Wizard reduce the amount of data entry required when reposting pricebooks.
