Rep Connect™ facilitates customer management, order verification, and field communication for sales forces of unlimited size. It allows each Merchandiser to maintain up-to-date customer information including price books and general demographic information on a Palm handheld unit. Each representative’s daily activity consisting of customer orders, credits, and text messages, is captured on the Palm unit, and synchronized with the Internet-based host system. As orders are processed, corresponding invoices are transmitted back to each device for confirmation, along with any customer changes that might have taken place since their last synchronization.
Rep Connect enables a sales force to have the following capabilities:
Scan either item UPC’s or shelf tags to build orders
Search for an item by complete UPC, SKU or Company Assigned Item Number
Search by partial Description
Accurately select delivery locations and review orders before submitting them
Retrieve and display Customer Invoice data for check-in purposes
Create Orders from existing Orders and Invoices
Generate Credit Requests
Communicate with other users via text messaging
Communicate daily activity to the host system and receive updated Item and Customer information as well
